Awards for exports and turnover were bestowed on Gökçelik at an event held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Nilüfer Organized Industrial Zone (NOSAB). On the night, the conference hall in the NOSAB Administrative Service Building was named 'Yalçın Aras Conference Hall'.
A celebratory dinner was held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Nilüfer Organized Industrial Zone (NOSAB), which through its production, employment and export performance is a major contributor to the Bursa and Turkish economies.
The celebratory dinner was given in the garden of NOSAB Administrative Service Building, hosted by NİLSİAD Chair of the Board and NOSAB Entrepreneurial Committee Chair Yalçın Aras, with NOSAB Board of Directors Chair, Erol Gülmez; also in attendance were Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Murat Demir, Nilüfer Mayor Turgay Erdem, and Bursa Uludağ University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz; with OSB Presidents, plus prominent representatives of NGOs and regional industrialists.
On the night, plaques were given to those who have spared no efforts for the Nilüfer Industrial Zone over the last 20 years. Moreover, 80 companies that achieved success in 5 categories: youth employment, women's employment, general employment, exports and turnover were presented with awards at the event. Separate awards for exports and turnover were bestowed on Gökçelik.
NİLSİAD Chair of the Board of Directors and NOSAB Entrepreneur Committee Chair Yalçın Aras stated, "Law is of great importance for the success of institutions. If it were not the case, NOSAB and similar places would not exist. We have succeeded in bringing NOSAB, which we established back in 2001, to the present day. Throughout this process, we have never forgotten our social responsibilities."
On the night, Yalçın Aras was surprised when the conference hall of the NOSAB Administrative Service Building was named the Yalçın Aras Conference Hall in his honour.
