Gökçelik A.Ş., a 45-year-old global brand in warehouse and shelf systems, became a member of the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer) Bursa Branch in line with its goals of further increasing production and service quality and sustainable development.

ON-GOING IMPROVEMENTS WITH MES

Gökçelik, by focussing on quality, efficiency and sustainability in the production and service processes of depot and shelving systems, continues to make on-going improvements. In digital transformational projects, the Production Management System (MES), an online integrated computer-aided system in which Industry 4.0 and The Internet of Things come together across production methods, gives all employees the chance to participate in improvement activities with the suggestion system it has developed through integration with its S/4 HANA ERP project.

Gökçelik is concerned to protect natural resources within the framework of sustainable development goals, and works to international standards, including: Renewable Energy Certificate, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
