Gökçelik launches its latest products at the Euroshop2023 fair

As one of Turkey’s leading producers of shelving systems for the retail sector and a global industrial business participant, Gökçelik was at Euroshop2023 - the world's largest retail equipment and technology fair – to show off its latest products, developed with technology, design, and investments in R&D.

As usual focusing on a variety of contemporary issues such as connected retail, sustainability, smart stores, energy management, third places, customer focus, experience and city centre vibrancy - alongside its retail equipment and technology - EuroShop staged the sector’s most important international event from February 26 to March 2, 2023 at the Messe Exhibition Centre in Düsseldorf, Germany. Turkey ranked fourth of the countries with the highest number of participants after Germany, China and Italy by taking part in a gathering of 131 companies, 1,853 exhibitors from 55 countries and an estimated 120 thousand visitors.

First time outing for new products

Taking to the stage at the 5 day fair, Gökçelik products quickly became the centre of attention. With the launch of new products at the event, the custom designed Gökçelik stand was soon flooded with visitors. The Textile Store Premium Concept wowed professional visitors, as did the Self-Checkout Till, produced by Gökçelik’s R&D and Design team with its focus on technology, aesthetics and ergonomics; plus the Single Back Panel products that can put more shelving into use. Gökçelik Ltd. CEO Yalçın Aras welcomed customers to the event from Turkey and countries around the world by reminding them, “May I say that as a company, we have made diligent preparations for the fair with the production performance realised with the focus on R&D, innovation and digitalization we have made in recent years. For the first time, we are using the event to launch our latest products and systems. We think the industry will love the colour and excitement we have added to the fair with our innovations.”

Asserting Euroshop’s world pre-eminence as the industry’s fair, Yalçın Aras said, “The last event, in 2020, coincided with the outbreak of the pandemic; and though the epidemic was just starting, it made both fair participants and visitors nervous. We are happy that this year’s event can take place in a healthy environment. Euroshop is both a global marketplace for the retail industry and an event where new products are shown for the first time. The sector’s stakeholders are also flexing their muscles by launching their latest innovations here. We at Gökçelik have been taking part in the event since 1993, completing all our preparations in time, and debuting new products alongside our competitors from around the world - just as in years past. We have tried to catch the eyes of retail clients, to win new customers and secure new export connections with our latest innovative products. I think we’ve accomplished that too. Visiting current customers, and those we’ve met for the first time on the stand, have praised our products and our presentation.”
