Gökçelik, the leading brand of depot and shelving systems with 45 years of experience, breaks new ground with a new product: its checkout base HASSAN. Checkout base Hassan, incorporating modern design with an ergonomic structure, provides convenience for both customer and operative.

A pioneer of retail product innovation in market display equipment, the company focuses on P.O.P. - Point of Purchase - sales with its new product, the checkout base Hassan. Combining stainless steel and wood, Hassan - a checkout base with modern lines - ensures those last-thought necessities are displayed for customers in an aesthetic way. Customer satisfaction is enhanced by its ergonomic structure, minimalist approach, high performance conveyor belt, and ease of use.

Giving information about the new product, Gökçelik A.Ş. CEO Yalçın Aras reported the idea was born at the Euroshop fair, held in 2020. Stating that the original concept - dreamt up by Hasan Hüseyin, one of his overseas clients - was developed by Gökçelik’s R&D and Design departments, where it took its current shape, Aras added, “Unfortunately, the client who inspired the product, was lost to the pandemic. So we saw fit to call the product HASSAN, naming it after him to keep his memory alive.” Stating that they have also commenced the registration procedures related to the product, Aras stressed that the company will continue with productive ventures that add value in the retail sector and Turkey.

Exporting depot, shelving systems and market display equipment to more than 70 countries, Gökçelik has designed the checkout base Hassan and offers it for sale in domestic and international markets, to meet the expectations of end-users and customers. The most important feature that distinguishes Hassan from other models is in the meticulous planning of the last point of purchase on its front panel, which improves the efficiency of the checkout. While increasing end-point sales with this feature, its aesthetic appearance responds to the client’s product expectations at the final point of purchase. Another important feature of the checkout base is that its ergonomic structure provides comfort for both the customer and the cashier. Supermarkets that use this checkout can easily display their products without taking up too much space. Another advantage for supermarkets is that this flexible checkout base consists of 3 parts and has a vertical modular structure. This modular structure also reduces the cost of replacement, shipment and assembly of the product.
